Currently, In order to deliver the highest quality care without insurance company restrictions, Desert Wellness Psychiatry is an "out-of-network" provider and contracted with a few select commercial or third-party payers. As an "out-of-network" provider, we are able to tailor treatment with YOU in mind. Many patients appreciate the privacy and close collaboration with their psychiatrist without insurance companies getting in between. Privacy is a major concern for many, and as an out of network provider, your psychiatric records are confidential. Your insurance company will only know about your care if you submit a claim to them for reimbursement. We will happily print out a detailed “superbill” should you choose to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Many patients will also invest in their health using their Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), or insurance deductibles. 

We offer complimentary direct contact outside sessions via email, text or phone. Our preferred mode is through a secure smartphone app that we'll share with you after your first visit. Most phone contacts are promptly resolved within a few minutes. Communication exceeding 10 minutes is charged at phone visit rate then prorated to an hourly rate.
