Therapist | A.S.W., M.S., M.S.W.
Alyssa joined us in 2021 and brings to us science and soul. As her experience includes published Ivy League medical research and teaching yoga, Alyssa incorporates this into her therapy; she combines the latest modalities and yogic philosophy to deliver a whole-person-centered approach.
Alyssa believes therapy only works when the clinician is committed to unconditional positive regard. She facilitates a judgement-free environment wherein her clients feel comfortable to explore themselves. This is what renders the most effective introspection and change. Alyssa received her masters in social work from the University of Southern California, holds a second masters in Biothethics from Union College, and completed her B.A. at Rhode Island College.
